I always say the only reason I need a man on my truck is to chain in the winter time. Perhaps we could meet a couple times a week and you could show me a better way to chain. After a few months we would both be experts.   |

So...I guess teaming is out of the question. UMM. :? ..we could meet and perfect our chain techniques :D , just two questions though....
1. Is there a ball attached to the end of the chain?
If the answer to question 1 is Yes, then....
2. How restricitive is the ball?
  |

| Well as far as I know the chains do not have a ball attached to them. Although, the doubles look like they get intertwined with the singles. I'm sure after a few "training sessions" we would both know what's what. Although, it might take a little longer than a few sessions though!!! UM...   |

Nevermind about the husband, this thread is getting more interesting by the second!!
Seriously, though, thank you all for the tips. He and I have discussed his training to also drive, but he's decided that after 40-some years of construction, he deserves his retirement!
I'm planning on "springing" a few of these ideas on him, so wish me luck!
Also, everyone...
Have a Happy, Safe, Prosperous, Love-filled New Year!

Isn't there a 160GB iPod these days?
Yikes, I thought I had a big music collection. BTW, if you have a laptop with you, you can load those that didn't make the initial cut onto it. |

I've got the chains, let's go!!! Now, which should last longer the training or the chaining? Um, seems to me that the training could last longer-we'll have to take breaks from time to time. Suppose HP would be suspicious if we don't move for awhile? :) 8)

Our training session better be shorter than the actual chaining right? |
