Arthur Blank allowed DeAngelo Hall and others to openly rip the head coach every chance he had instead of siding with Petrino and benching them for a few games. The players had already quit on the season and are now trying to make politcal statements on the field, ie: the Free Vick shirt on one player, instead of trying to still win games. When the players and owner are against you, why hang around?
I bet McFadden would be wild in Petrino's style of offense if he stayed.
:D We're all hoping Dmac will stay and the rumors are that he and Felix Jones just might! 8) |

| With Petrino, DMac may just win the Heisman in a runaway if he stays. Look at Louisville with Bush and Brohm before Bush got injured last year in what, the first game? The year before, Louisville's O was scary good, averaging more than 40 points a game. Bush was looking to be a top 5 pick before he got injured and maybe battling Brohm for the Heisman. |
