The rate that toys are being found to be unsafe so often here lately, I'm leaning towards a real homemade Christmas for us this year.......

I know it just keeps getting worse and worse. I am concerned for my grandchildren who get lots of toys as gifts-- as most kids do. I can imagine all the recalls AFTER christmas.
Sad.. was never like this when my daughter was a child. |

I don't remember alot of that from when I was a kid either, course we weren't just given all the brand new stuff all the time either, my mom made alot of our stuff..........I don't like to just give my kids 'things' but sometimes I see something I'd like to buy for them to have here, all these warnings coming out anymore really make me double think buying them some things here.
Some of the toys in the recent recalls were even listed in the top ten and twelve of some of the 'bigger places'....like the aquadots |
