No it's true I heard it on the radio,or did I read it on the internet........All Earnhardt fans have threatened to never watch or attend another race if Nascar allows Jeffy to win 7 or dare I say gasp.....more championships. |

Actually, it's more like your uncle had his balls removed to become your aunt(you sure have strange relatives). Now, even though your "Aunt" knows "her" operation was wrong, "she" knows it is to much trouble to put things right again.
If NASCAR had just been smart enough to make a race win worth a lot more points, they would have never needed to go to the chase format. |

| Just go to an F1 style points system, only score the Top 10 and the heck with everyone else. We'd see a heck of a battle with 43 drivers going for 10 points paying spots. :D |

Ok the points system needs an overhaul. YES. But the chase makes it better TV towaqrds the end of the season, which is when NASCAR was loosing viewers.
All you conspirAcy theorists need to check into a padded room with butlers in white suits! Thats assanine, and "fans" making threats like that need to check their heads too. NASCAR has no controll over stuff like that. It's all about business! Why would they try get the most unliked man in the sport another championship? ( i cant stand him) but i'll admit he's doing something right, and laughing all the way to the bank!
Robby Gordon has got to be a close second as most unliked though. He is a P*R*I*C*K!! |

Robby hardly gets noticed during driver intro's. It's the other drivers who don't like him. They will race with him but he doesn't exactly hold their respect due to some of his lowball moves he has pulled on the track.
Jeff Gordon is the #1, #2 and #3 worst booed. JJ is next with the Busch brothers being right there. At Richmond(an Earnhardt faithful track) this past September, Junior was booed worse than Gordon, Johnson and the Busch brothers combined.
Southern, we're being smarta$$es about the system. :D It's all in jest. We all know, and this coming from an avid Gordon fan in myself, that Jeff will not get to 7 championships before he retires. We just like to stir the pot on how NASCAR has screwed him of a chance at it. Columnist David Poole seems to be the ring-leader of that conspiracy, he is forever harping on it and how NASCAR is trying to run Jeff Gordon out of town. Gordon could have 6 titles right now, the other being in 1997 I think, when Gordon teammate Terry Labonte won the title by 30 points with a broken hand during the last few races. Yeah, NASCAR made Terry drive with a broken hand. I'm sure the same conspiracy crap was made when Earnhardt tied Petty, that he never won another title because NASCAR and Bill France wouldn't stand for it. |

| I also have to take issue with Jeff being the most hated driver. Isn't he second only to Jr. in apparel sales(2nd or 3rd, I forget). I have to admit, the only cap I ever paid for has a #24 on it. |

| I think that for whatever he got paid for that spot, he can put up with the henpecking. I would probably put up with it for half of what he got paid. |

I actually find Robby pretty funny, atleast he stood up to the garage bully in Tony Stewart,Stewarts face when Robby grabbed him at Daytona a few years ago was priceless....that was the look of a man who had bitten off more than he could chew..... |

I just thought of something.
I hate to admit it, but I have pretty much been picking the same guys every week on the race for the cup...
I bet everyone is picking the same guys that I'm picking. Kinda obvious who's gonna win. :P |

| Now that Tony has no chance at the championship, I'm officially rooting for Bowyer. |
