That was a great movie!

My dad was up visiting this week, so I took him to see the new Indiana Jones movie yesterday since he loves those movies. We really enjoyed it. It was a lot lighter than the others, but classic Indy and the story was a fun one with a lot of good one-liners and funny stuff. The movie also did a great job doing the storyline where Shia Lebeauf (sp?) would be the new Indy in the next film(s).

Here's some of my favorites:
Animated - The Lion King
Comedy - Born in the USA
Adventure - Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Arc
Drama - On the Waterfront
Romantic Comedy - The Wedding Singer or When Harry Met Sally
Romance - African Queen (some of you might not view it as a romance movie)
Sci Fi - Andromeda Strain or Running Man.

But according to my wife, my all time favorite movie - A Christmas Story

I have a feeling that Wall-E is going to score as one of the funniest Pixar movies ever.

Quote: Comedy - Born in the USA

Ground Hog Day, Caddyshack, Walk Like A Man

Quote: Adventure - Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Arc

Good flick, one of my favorites, too. I loved the LotR movies, too. Can't wait for the Hobbit to come out. The Harry Potter movies are all well-done, too, and extremely enjoyable. Die Hard was a great one, too.

Quote: Drama - On the Waterfront

Mr. Holland's Opus, if that could be considered a drama. Fantastic movie.

Quote: Romantic Comedy - The Wedding Singer or When Harry Met Sally

Wedding Singer was good, so was 50 First Dates. If you haven't seen the latter, do so. Fun movie.

Quote: Romance - African Queen (some of you might not view it as a romance movie)

Never got into sappy for the sake of sappy. Wife isn't into the, either, thankfully. So we look for Romantic Comedies. But the one that stands out in the Romance category was City Of Angels with Nicholas Cage and Meg Ryan. If that don't make you bawl, you're heartless.

Quote: Sci Fi - Andromeda Strain or Running Man.

Running Man was good. Matrix was excellent. Any of the Star Wars movies are re-watchable over and over again. For the Andromeda Strain, are you talking about the old one or the new 4-hour one that just came out last month? Never saw the first one, but we're halfway through the recent one and it's really good.

Speaking of Disney, I was listening to my 'Lilo and Stitch' soundtrack today. I remembered what a great movie it was and all the Elvis references. I thought it was a 'different movie' from what Disney usually produces.

I am counting the days to the Dark Knight. I think even my husband maybe interested in seeing this one.

I'm looking forward to "The Incredible Hulk."
I enjoyed "Ironman."

I'm a sociopath...so I avoid theaters. Unless I can lurk about in the back row...with the rest of the sociopaths. mmmhuh...maybe I'm not so antisocial after all. Naw,,,I'm too busy trying to control and keep saving the seats next to me, for my imaginary friends...and telling everybody to shut up, and watch the movie. :?

James McAvoy is so smokin hot.
he gets his own five light bulbs ... though I wish he would have used his own accent, not an america one.

Actually Dad....errr Drew10:

You got! Penelope....errr Christina..... errr aka Wednesday is cute.
But in the movie that is so adorable, she plays the modern day Beast and McAvory plays the modern day Beauty.
Ok Ok..... That may be a bit confusing but it's a take on Beauty and the Beast but done in a way the man has to over come the ulgy to get to the woman within.
It is actually very sweet, Produced by Reese Witherspoon
For Young girls to realize they are more then just the outside and you definately want a man to love you for both.

James McAvoy is ... errr.... His eyes.....His voice...... His umm (flustered)
Is gorgeous. He plays a wonderful beauty.
