LOL!! Overrated, Peyton Manning??? He's won a Super Bowl like Favre and will probably crush all of his records too.
We'll see what happens this season. Packers have a chance in the pathetic NFC. It looks like they will have to get past the Cowboys to get to the dance. |

Not with the youngsters and the injuries they have. They're making a nice early feel-good run, but they aren't a Super Bowl contender.

Hardly.

Wow. Now that's just not even a smart comment. Peyton Manning is probably one of the top 5 QB's of all time and by the time he retires, will probably own many of Favres records. In addition, like Favre, Manning is just an all around likeable good guy that plays by the rules. Manning and Favre are in the same elite group of guys. Trashing one, trashes the other.

No arguments there. But so is Manning.
Still, in the end, the NFC is going to have to get by the Cowboys and this year, that's not going to be an easy thing to do. |

I'll Repeat-We're not very good but like always the Packers play with Heart.
We have people on the Roster I've never even heard of. We have the Youngest team in the NFL and have more injuries than anybody.
Colts and the rest have alot of Veteran players and have been together for a long time. Common sense that they win. Big Deal
We don't even PRETEND to run the ball and Brett and our receivers still find a way to get open
All of a sudden the 8-8 prediction is starting to sound a bit off.
Cowboys and the Colts were expected to win-We Weren't. |

I don't know, Yoopr. The Pack is about ready to run into a buzzsaw on their schedule. I think from here on out, it's supposed to get pretty rough, isn't it?
I won't rule out an 8-8 record anymore than I'll rule out a 10-5 record for teams like the Bears and the Chargers. :)
Of course, I haven't ruled out 16-0 for the Cowboys yet, either. :D

True, but my point was that they are on a nice feel-good roll. They are definitely improved and definitely making people sit up and take notice. But they don't have what it takes to get to the big game. They are just too young and too banged up to legitimately threaten. Favre biggest success story this year will be laying the groundwork for these guys to get good in the next couple of years. |

Sure it would and it COULD be a possibility if we had some sort of running game which we don't.
We can't even Fake a running play. |

Well hey, you can fake a football team. :D
Just kidding.
Actually, my comment about the Pack not being a Super Bowl contender this year was aimed at the original poster. |

looking over the rest of the schedule I can see maybe 6 losses.
That would put us at 10-6
If we had healthy running backs it would be much better |

| You see that loss to the Cowboys on there in November? Got them Red Lobster gift certificates yet? :) Better get extras. Red Lobster is my daughter's favorite restaurant and she's wanting to go, too. :) |

| If we miraculously came up with a couple good RB's to balance the pass we could beat Dallas. Our Defense is certainly better than theirs. |

You should pay attention more. 8)
I can see them laying a shutout down on Buffalo next week. The test of their D will be the following week when they play the New England Cheatriots. Traditionally, Moss has eaten Dallas alive. I'm willing to bet that Wilson already has a game plan in place to contain him.
The Cowboys D started slow this year, but have amped it up pretty well. They're now playing at a level the pundits thought they would...which is top 5. |
