Saw this on the news last night before I went to bed. Thought I should put it out here in for you guys to know about it.

The full article can be found here:
http://www.9news.com/rss/article.aspx?storyid=77015

This is why I thought I would let you all know about it.
"In the coming year, the state patrol is hoping to staff Clear Creek and Summit Counties with another seven troopers to help slow down traffic and cut down on the number of accidents.

"Visibility is always the key. When someone sees a trooper working the road or pulled over it puts it into their conscience," said Mares.

There is also the new state chain law now in effect. It not only increases fines for truckers who don't chain up in winter conditions, it requires that all truckers have chains on their trucks from September to May with or without snow.

Now as I am not familiar with the laws (yet?) I am thinking this means that you guys just have to have them with you but when I read it instead of hearing it I am now wondering if that means you have to have them on the tires? Doesn't make any sense to me (yet?) but I usually do to much thinking sometimes. :D

Also what confused me at the end of it though was they said that Wyoming and Arkansas had the highest number of accidents and Colorado was inbetween them. :?: :?: :?:
