| :D "Dale" the story of Dale Earnhardt, told by those who knew him best, will be shown this Tuesday night at 8 p.m. (7 Central) on Country Music Television. Today we've got pro athletes always garnering headlines with illegal dogfights, drug busts, and other unlawful stuff but on the other hand The Intimidator always had time for his fans, often spending hours signing autographs, posing for pictures, and never forgetting where he came from. He was one helluva guy and is sorely missed. |

Richard Petty and Bill Elliott were the exact same. Petty still lives right where he grew up.
Yoop, uhhhhh do what?? What race is Tuesday night?? :? :D
From the quick highlights I have seen and the little promo DVD I got from DEI, it is good stuff. Can't wait to re-live his Richmond window wash, the same thing Sterling Marlin was trying to say after he got caught doing some fender work on his car in the 500. He had it a little backwards, but he was close, Dale's was under caution not a red flag and Dale was still driving around the track while hanging out of the car. |

| Too bad it is only a 2 hour show. I'm sure they could find a whole lot more to put in there. Talk about an out of body moment, when he was talking about how he would regret walking away from the sport, basically eluding to the fact that he didn't plan to ride off into the sunset. That was freaky. |

Realized that I am 3 years older than Sr.
I Didn't like him as a driver but I respected him and he brought NASCAR to what it is today.
One horrendous accident he was in prior to his death he walks away banged up but ok and I remember when Mikey won Daytona, with Jr. andd Dale Blocking( :P ) and when he hit the Wall I thought no big deal. |

| Everyone thought that Yoop, looked like no big deal. Had no idea about the Pocono crash, that looked deadly when you think of the cars back then, they had no idea what safety was. Any of those crashes with cars flipping back in the day could be deadly but some of the worst looking one's were no biggie, ie Ricky Rudd's Daytona crash. |

| I have never seen that ride Sadler took at Michigan in practice with the Wood Brothers car. Everyone talks about how ugly it was but seems as though no video exists. The 'Dega one looked rough but Rusty's 2 rides were worse looking. His Daytona one where he caught about 20 feet of air while cartwheeling or his 'Dega one where he broke his hand. How about DW's are Daytona?? I thought for sure he was dead. |
