| Not sure if any of you keep up with baseball, but the rangers put a slaughter house in Baltamore last nite. Final was 30-3, the first time a team has hit 30 in 110 years. Record was 36-7 set in the 1890's. Not sure what the exact stats where of that game but I know there was 2 grand slams, and 10 runs in one inning. |

Yeah, I watched that one on the internet after it was 20-3 in the 8th inning. Can't believe they hung 10 more on them after that.
What surprised me was that Baltimore pitchers didn't start plunking Texas hitters. You know that getting destroyed like that in your own house had to be seriously difficult to swallow. |

| Highest score in 110 years. 2 teams have combined for 30 runs or more, but no one team has scored 30 runs alone in 110 years. That was sickening, the local announcers could barely get the score out because they were either laughing or so disturbed by it. It was huge news on the DC stations, they not only had it in the sports segment but also in the overnight breaking news segments the next morning. Not only did they give up 30 but they gave up 9 more in the 2nd game of the doubleheader. Did do a little better in the 2nd game, they were able to score 7 runs. :D |

We can only hope that Angelos will sell the team, but I doubt it. I won't go the ball park anymore, even on a free ticket, rarely watch them on tv either.
Sad, I remember when we had good baseball.
Thank god we have a great football team. I don't know if I mentioned this but we were 13-3 last year.  |

| Angelos is too stupid to sell the team. He had a good core of players but he let them age without getting a good group of young talent into the farm system and developing. That aged group has since retired or moved on, now he has a bunch of AAA talent trying to make it in the big leagues. |
