WTF, now Yahoo.com has several different reports on the plea deal. One article says he admitted to killing dogs while the headline says he denied killing dogs. :?

That's a start. I hear he'll be missing out on $6 million and that's just his base pay.

It's ok yoop, the Player's Union has hung Vick out. They are catching heat for not stepping up to his defense against the NFL suspending him. As far as they are concerned, he broke the player conduct policy and they ain't going to fight it because the last 3 (Tank Johnson, Pacman Jones and one of the Bengals) they fought for and have lost out when they broke the conduct policy.

Well it's official now, Vick has plead guilty, sentencing is Dec. 10th which means he will definitely be out for this season and most likely all of next year at the minimum just on the Federal charges. That's 2 years of missed action and that doesn't even include the possibility of a 5 year State sentence. State is looking at 5 years for him. BTW, the Federal charges, he could see 1 year or 1.5 years in the clink. Knowing the judge owns a dog himself, could be the 1.5 years or maybe a little more.

Nice little "I'm Sorry" statement today, little late for that. The fans are seeing right thru it as being fake, his word can't be trusted anymore since he lied about the whole thing.

I love the tearful apologies when things like this happen. Ever notice the apologies always come AFTER getting nailed? That b@astard was only sorry that he got caught, nothing more. If he was truly sorry, he would have turned himself in before an investigation ever got started. It's called having a conscience and he doesn't have one. :x

I loved the judges statement at the hearing. It was something to the effect of "You understand, Mr. Vick, that I am not bound by this agreement when it comes to sentencing." Vick is going to get nailed to the wall over this. I'm betting the sentence will be 5 years.

you think he'll get that much time? I don't think he'll get close to that even though he deserves it.

I think at a minimum, he'll get 3. The judge said he will impose a penalty befitting the seriousness of his crimes. The judge is known to be tough, but fair. 3-5 and I'm leaning toward 5.

Then the state gets him. :)
