Being a high profile inmate, the jail likely won't release him into general population, instead they will prolly put him in a safe block. That is the block where the jailhouse snitches or inmates that are constantly being jumped go to.
I'm with you though, I would rather he be released into general pop, see how big and bad he really his.
This was heard elsewhere, "Does this make little brother Marcus the good son??" Makes you wonder what he was learning while he spent a year living with Mike after he was suspended from VT for his drug trafficking stop in Richmond, Va.
:D If Vick was released into the general inmate population he would end up being some other inmate's bitch or sweetheart! |

Will the NAACP also demand that the dogs Vick killed be brought back to life? I mean, fair's fair, right?
I've got about as much use for the NAACP as I have for the ACLU and the USELESS NATIONS, which is Jack Schitt. |

What's new with the National Assoc. of Always Complaining People?? They claimed we should not rush to judgement without hearing the facts yet here is the same man speaking again and actually putting down the co-defendants, calling them liers and they are black also. He isn't calling for them to be able to get their jobs back once they get out of jail, where's the equality that he was claiming we should all have on Vick??
I heard on our local radio that it is possible Vick's 1-1.5 year Federal sentence could be much lighter than the State sentence even if he pleads guilty to the State charges. Not for sure, but I think they said the State will go with all of the same charges the Feds had or were going ot have before the plea deal just on the State level. |

Top ten reasons it's good to be Michael Vick
10. All of this controversy over dog fighting, makes people forget how much of a lousy QB you are.
9. You can eat all the Twinkies, and Slim Jims you want locked up. Ask Tank Johnson.
8. Your recent troubles have saved the world from buying your ugly sneakers.
7. You will be playing prison league football, so you have a chance of actually winning a championship.
6. Your Jersey might be off the shelf, buy your Dog Chew Toy is selling great.
5. Forget a water bottle, now you get to hide your weed up your ass. That's much cooler.
4. Your speed, and elusiveness will help you avoid getting "shanked" in the yard.
3. You don't have to worry about hanging with the wrong crowd anymore, because all of your friends snitched on you.
2. At least you are not Eddie Griffin. My God.
1. You don't have to worry about losing your manhood in prison, because everybody knows you have herpes.
What a class act!   |

I'm actually glad to hear that. That means a trial, a conviction (no doubt on that one), and a longer sentence. If he was smart, he'd plead guilty to all charges...that would give him the lightest sentence. But he's an idiot and his lawyer apparently isn't all that bright either. There's a prosecuting attorney out there salivating over getting this case. |

Vick has plead guilty to everything but gambling, he says he only posted the money he never got any of the actual winnings cut.
Quote: AP - Michael Vick filed a plea agreement in federal court Friday admitting to a dogfighting charge and agreed the enterprise included the killing of fighting dogs and gambling.
The Atlanta Falcons quarterback is scheduled to formally enter his plea Monday in U.S. District Court. He signed the plea agreement Thursday.
"Most of the Bad Newz Kennels operation and gambling monies were provided by Vick," a summary of facts in the case said.
The statement said when the kennel's dogs won the gambling proceeds and were generally shared by Vick's three co-defendants.
"Vick did not gamble by placing side bets on any of the fights. Vick did not receive any of the proceeds of the purses that were won by Bad Newz Kennels," the summary stated.
According to court documents, Vick was aware that his co-defendants killed a number of dogs that did not perform well in testing sessions.
Last April, Vick and two co-defendants tested the fighting skills of dogs and the three agreed to kill six to eight dogs that did not perform well. All were killed by various methods that included hanging and drowning.
VA will get Vick when the Feds are done and will try to run him thru the ringer. With this plea, he will not go to trial in the Federal case per the plea deal that has been worked out. Instead the judge will impose a punishment because Vick is agreeing that the evidence against him is "true" and he is guilty of the charges. Basically he has been checkmated on the Fed case. |

| Heard over lunch that the first report was incorrect, he will plead guilty to killing the dogs. He wants to haggle the gambling thing because that charge alone will probably get him a life-time ban from the NFL and he doesn't want to lose that. What a piece of ****. :x |

Did anyone catch the story his estranged father put out?? Apparently the entire family knew about the dog fighting, it was going on in his mother's garage at the start. This father "told Vick" that he needed to stop what he was doing and get his name in the clear if he wanted to continue with this illegal act. Told him to get the property in Surry Co into someone else's name besides his before he got busted.
Daddy knew what he talking about and Vick was too hard headed to listen.
I don't see how Vick can say he never gambled on this when he was the one fronting his group's portion of the winner's pot, which he just admitted to the world in the press release. No matter how you spin it, it's still gambling. |
