| I didn't get my CDL there, but spent a week at the college during my CFI orientation. They were very professional and thorough. |

CFI uses this school alot. I have talked with several of them over on the CFI forum and read many others experiences. Everyone speaks very highly of Crowder. Good reputation, good training, good instructors. Don't think you could go wrong there.

From what I know, CFI/Con-way will send someone there with only $1,700 out of pocket, CFI pays the rest at graduation. Thats a whole lot better deal than I had when I started.

| I was prehired by CFI before going to crowder back in March....in order for you to satisfy your obligation, you need to pull at least one load....no contracts to sign....it is a great deal....hard to beat.... |

| Actually you are not required to pull a load from my understanding they ask that you do all you need to do is get through orientation. I went through crowder and already had my cdl but i earned it the hard way taught myself and am very glad that i went to crowder to really learn to drive. Hey and piece drop the recruiting bull!! |

I used to be a driver finisher for CFI back in the '90's and worked directly with the individual, Cliff Miller, who got Crowder's driver program on track.
Never dealt with the school but have heard good things and dealt with some of their students and they were good drivers. If they train students the way they did back then, I would highly recommend them.
I believe that Crowder is affiliated with the Professional Truck Drivers Institute (PTDIA), and most schools that affiliate with PTDIA are usually good schools. |
