| I have Roadmasters on my short list of schools to attend. They want to send me to Memphis Tenn for school. Anyone been there. I am 50 years old and ready for some freedom and adventure. Our last kid left of college and so it is just the wife and I . I do realize that I would be home much at first but would like to find something with more home time once i get some experience. Have the money to pay for myself so don't need sponsorship. Do have somethings in my past (21 year old felony conviciton) that i think would be better for a recruiter to find me a company. Any suggestion or comment would be greatly appreciated. |

| they bring recruits in show them how to start and stop. they teach how to back up and do a simple pretrip inspection. This is all done in 3 weeks. These schools, aka CDL mill, don't really give you that much of experience and are not very thorough in their education. i would go to a community college or a tech school first.. |
