How about going back to the old rules and just cracking down on them?
How about imposing the same HOS rules for 4 wheelers, too?
How about regulating the shippers/receiver's hours instead?
When my schedule runs 7a to 9p, how do I make an 11p appointment if I have to log line 4? Technically I'm out of hours.
Personally I like the 10/8 rules better. I could take a nap if I wanted, a long lunch, split my sleeper time when going through Chicago, etc. Now I'm forced to drive hungry, tired, and agitated. |
