Nascar has the biggest problem with this type of coverage because they say it doesn't give the sponsors value.......I could not disagree more, atleast I watch them in this type of coverage I usually change the channel during commercials.

Missed most of the race since it was a cookie cutter track. Saw the last 40 laps.

So, is Kyle Petty not racing anymore? Come to think of it, I saw him on TV Sunday morning with the other guys. He retire?

Too bad he didnt exactly have the wins that his dad had.

Not yet Jack. He is sliding into retirement real fast though. He is planning to retire after this season or next season from active driving duties. Petty Enterprises is looking to bring in Chad McCumbee as the future driver of the #45. He raced 2 races during Kyle's driving vacation and did decent for never driving a Cup car. He has previously raced the Trucks but lost his ride and went back to the local short tracks around the Carolina's. May remember Chad as playing Little E in ESPN's "3" movie.

Well, I hate to see him retire. Wished he was like his dad.

Kyle never wished for that. He hated when people thought he should be winning like his dad. Problem was, Petty Enterprises was starting it's downturn around the time Kyle started racing in Cup. Kyle has never been in a top notch ride for very long. He did hook up with Felix Sabates and the Mellow Yellow ride, had the car to win the Daytona 500 and got took out on a bonehead mistake by another driver. Nobody was going to beat that car that day even if they took the restrictor plates off the other cars. He should have gotten a few more wins in his career though, that was one that got away which could have launched his career into another atomsphere. He is lucky to have raced this long, he was supposed to retire more than 5 years ago. Adam was supposed to take over driving duties for Petty Enterprises and Kyle was going to retire and be strictly an owner.
