What a nice and Geeky press conference
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
NASCAR is starting to lose me--and I think it's REALLY going downhill
I'm going to be really interested in hearing about this BS Press Conference
Gotta hunch AT&T(as much as I hate them cuz they're my phone carrier) s going to be Livid

What a Press Conference--I think the reporters were Dumfounded as much as I was because there was pretty much dead silence and only about 3 questions about it.
YAWN
Hope the Race tonight is better

Well, we all knew the change was coming for about the last month and a half now. Other ways around it but whatever......changing the Title name again in so short a span is dumb, ask CART how that has worked out. Could and should have kept it as the Nextel Cup and called the "playoffs" the Sprint for the Cup or something like that.

BTW, the Busch race this morning was a huge bore. Nobody could pull out and pass on their own after the first round of pit stops. One big follow the leader.

Thing is that the reporters for Speed Channel really hyped up this conference to be something out of this world and it turned into being a Dud.

I missed the Busch Race

It was literally a "Busch" race. The Shrub got out front and pretty much stayed there the rest of the way. He did use a little off road excurison to get into the lead on the 1st stop and NASCAR jumped him for it. Told him that if he went off into the grass again, they would penalize him. He drove into the grass and passed 2 cars that were in front of him, so instead of being 3rd on the restart, he was 1st. He was obviously speeding, but the radar NASCAR uses doesn't work when a car is over in the grass, so they could not penalize him for that even though it was obvious.

Passing Under the Line is an Automatic Penalty-what's up with that?

I predict for tonights race that there is gonna be cars taken out right off the Bat because of no Qualifying and cars getting set up.

They really need to change the rules for qualifying.

Feel bad for those who "made" the race, then didn't, especially Boris.

Boris got the Royal ....
I think next year qualifying will be different. It accomplished what it was set up to do and the Problem has been settled.

Hate them myself. Had them back in the mid-90's, switched to Cingular, then they get me back. They found a way to get lots of their old customers back.

Wish the Government would go after them for having a Monopoly on phone service.
