Stay the **** away from Prime.

I drove for Arrow. It's a good company with good pay and benefits and good equipment. Hell, I'd drive for them again.

Hire on with CFI, as a company driver you will clear more profit. Fuel prices have drained the extra profit once enjoyed by Owner/Lease Operators. Don't listen to anyone tell you that Fuel Surcharges make up the difference.

All lease plans have payments higher than loan payments on the same trucks. STAY AWAY FROM LEASES.

CFI is a good company. But, their one downfall is the pay and benefits. .28 cpm is mediocre. Then the deal where you get no dental and a low budget health plan until you've been there a year. At that time you get better insurance and the dental plan takes effect. I've never heard of that anywhere. To me, not having dental coverage for a year is a pretty expensive risk.

I'm sure Con-way will come in and change all of that for the better.
