DQ. Why? Because I REFUSE to eat Bruster's ice cream. After three years of deliving to them and eating thier ice cream, you get the point. :D |

My current favorite is a simple chocolate, vanilla swirl soft serve hot fudge sundae, with whip cream, chopped peanuts, and a cherry on top...
I like a variety of other ice cream flavors, this is just the current favorite... If I were to get an ice cream cone, I'm definitely a sugar cone person...
The best place I know for ice cream is a place called Kimball's Farm... They make their own ice cream, and if you get a banana split there be prepared not to eat anything before you go there...
Their banana splits have about a 1/2 gallon of ice cream in them, then they top them with chocolate, strawberry, and pineapple toppings, add whip cream, chopped walnuts, and 3 cherries. It is a meal in it's self... It literally looks like a mountain of ice cream...
The place has grown over time, they used to have cows in the surrounding pasture, but, the cows are gone now... They turned the pasture into a golf range, have a gift shop, a petting zoo for the kids, and lines of people outside waiting for ice cream... Though the lines can be very long, it is certainly worth the wait...
The newest flavors I've tried were a Strawberry frozen yogurt, and a very nice, very creamy Pina Colada ice cream...
I don't have ice cream often, only when the weather is very hot, and I feel like having a little... 8) |

| :D About ten yrs. ago I was headed south on I-5 just outside Woodburn I heard a guy offering free Ice cream at the truck. stop!. I had an empty reefer. so I thought I would jump off and get some! wrong!. As I got closer the freeway started slowing to a crawl both on & off ramps were bumper to bumper with cars and trucks !. What had happened was a Driver was taking a load of ice cream to Dryers ( 53 ft. ) his reefer was set on -10, and Dryers policy is -20 so they refused it. He called in and dispatch told him to dump it, so he opened the doors an got on the radio giving it away, all flavors, gallons ,half gallons, bars he had it all! I tell ya it was one massive traffic jam, and I didn`t get any.LOL  |
