| Well, I'm watching Sports Center, and there is a thing about Michael Vick, fighting dogs. They said that Michael Vick owned a house that he used for the dog fighting matches. My wife is up, and she is baking, and stuff for tomorrow. She didnt like seeing the dogs fighting, so I didnt get to see the end of the news thing about it. |

| As far as I'm concerned it should be outlawed. I thought that sort of thing already was. Doing something like that and using animals. It's out and out cruel!! |

| There are only about 10 states that allow it. Michael Vick was doing this illegal. |

In VA it is illegal and that is supposedly where the house was. New info is saying that Vick was there and knew all about it even though he is saying opposite. Police have an informant that was at the house for almost every fight and said Vick was there and betting.
Put him in jail for it. |

| Vick is toast and rightfully so. They'll have the proof all layed out in the courtroom and his career is finished. He and his brother should share a cell together. It's a damn shame when people with their kind of talent have no brains in their head at all. I'll bet mamma is so proud of her boys. :x Stupid morons. |

Yeah, it's sad that them 2 boys have ruined such talent.
Yoopr, apparently, I mis-understood the guy on TV about the laws. I read online that it is illegal in North America. I reckon, that it is illegal in all states, even though some still fight. |

| If I remember the story from the other day, I think it's illegal in something like 46 states, including the state where all this happened. He's going to jail. |

All but 2 states in the US have outlawed dog fighting. Vick has been quoted as saying that he was called to the house by police because it was a house he owned and that he was never there nor knew anything about it beforehand. The informant says different and now Vick ain't saying a word. If video evidence of his presence shows up, he is toast for sure but word of mouth may not fly if he has a good lawyer. Prolly will plea down to a lesser charge and only get a slap on the wrist.
I agree on both, they are complete idiots. |

There's a link to the newest info. Looks like Surrey County wants to make sure they do everything by the book so they can nail a large fish.
Now to play devil's advocate here, I agree that dog fighting is wrong and should be outlawed everywhere. Wyoming and Idaho are the only 2 states where it is legal. BUT, if it is so wrong then why are boxing and UFC ok?? Aren't they just as inhumane?? Your putting 2 grown men in a ring and letting them beat the snot out of one another and oh by the way you could be killed in the process. Isn't that being a major hypocrite or is it different because it's a human instead of an animal?? I don't see it as any different, if your going to allow boxing and UFC then you should allow dog fighting and such. If your going to ban one, then ban the others. |

Mr. Ford people (men & women) are able to speak up for themselves. No one can make them do something they don't want to do. Animals don't have that option.
Drive safe everyone. :) |
