I enjoy being married to my wife. I love her, yes.
I also enjoyed being single, when I was by myself.
So, uh...hmmmmm.:|

I'm divorced, after 7 years of marriage.
I couldn't vote.
None of the category's fit.

I don't regret my marriage, and if I were to do it again, I would.
I have yet to regret being in love.
I may regret other things that changed that love though.

At the risk of repeating myself...

A male friend of mine, whom I've known since we were very young kids. Asked me the question, "When are you going to get married?"...

I replied, "When I meet a man who makes a better companion then my dog."....

He didn't have a reply for that one...

The time spent with Anthony were the best years of my life. While there were times when things were less than idyllic, the one constant was our love. We may have been broke, stuck on the road, whatever, but we had each other.

It depends - do I have to marry the same woman? If so, the answer is a solid "HELL NO". If, however, I can marry my fiance, then the answer is a resounding "YES".

:D Red...nice Arab. 8)

If you re-read my post you will notice I am not lonely, sad, or regretful.
I am one of the happiest people I know...and I continually try to pass along cheer.

I love pets, but never as a substitute for a human relationship...
and in that regard, I have done well in my life, as it has been filled with both.

I am not in a position for pets or a personal relationship right now....but God will determine that for me.
I recognize Gods hand when I see it.
I have told you before, that I am secure in my single status.
I have always believed you must live YOUR life...to even have a life to offer and share in a relationship.
I believe that is more so important as the relationship builds...if it is to grow.
If a good relationship fails...and you were doing your best with it...how can there be regrets?

Like I said....I may regret other things that changed that love though.
That is called living and learning....and letting what was freely given...go free... if that is it's course.
If it returns once again...maybe you will have had time to see what will make it better the next time it's offered.
If not...you can enter the next relationship....with BAGGAGE....or become a better person and lover, from your experience.

Any woman I have ever loved...if that love came back to me...
I would be willing to possibly give it another chance...
if I see it has new life...and new horizons.
I won't go into details...lets just say...sometimes when something is over it is over for the best.

So...I am basically saying...I won't be a fool for love. I have been there and done that too.

Anyway...please stop this thinking ....I'm lonely or miserable. That is far from who I am.

I had written a reply, but, if you don't click preview in a short period of time, you lose it...

So, all I can say is..... Fine....

I posted the horse, because I know you HAD a passion for horses... I simply posted them, to make you smile... If your passion was for Pizza, I would have posted that I'd give you the best Pizza in the world, instead...

Not that you should have animals in your life as a substitute for human companionship.

As for your "single status"... I never asked you about it, or whether you were "secure" in it...

I never said you were lonely, or miserable. I also understand that you have a lot of things going on in your life, that you're dealing with, and that basically you've been burned in a past relationship, and your not interested in pursuing another anytime soon...

I happened to like your sense of humor, and you made me laugh. I found you intriguing, intelligent, and someone I would like to get to know better... In fact if you re-read one of my posts. I stated that I liked your sense of humor, and that you must be having a very happy life.

It doesn't hurt to make a new friend does it?....

I hope you won't be offended, and please don't be, this is not my intention...

I would though like to just say this to you, speaking as a friend (though I am actually only someone you know as an aquaintance on this forum). That should someone special, someday come into your life, that your God doesn't have to hit you over the head with a hammer to give you that sign you say you can recognize so well, to notice...

I do know this, nothing happens in life, unless you make it happen, and of course if you want it to happen. Doesn't matter what it is, a career, a friendship, a relationship, whatever... No one spiritually, or otherwise is just going to give you what you desire in your life. If you want it, you have to go out and find it...

Another thing I would like to state is, that life happens when your making plans. Something I know all to well about.... So, don't ignore what might be right under your very nose, while your busy with all those plans... You may miss out on something you could have never imagined.

Again, I like your sense of humor, and if I ever did meet you, I think we would become good friends.

I think we do have a lot in common, not just what you have posted about. But, things I haven't posted about.

Your humor made you stand out, and after reading many of your posts, you are simply someone I would like to get to know better. Doesn't hurt to make another friend, does it?...

Well, that's all I have to say.... for now.... O.K.
