|

| :D It was reported on Fox Sports that Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre, incensed that his team was unable to land wide receiver Randy Moss during last month's NFL draft, asked to be traded. After venting his anger at Coach Mike McCarthy, Favre reportedly cooled down and then admitted he didn't want to go anywhere. 8) |

He does have a temper at times and lets it fly
Pretty much guarantee that in the not too distant future Pack will land a big one.
I've gotta go to Green Bay Press Gazette to see if this really happened though. Haven't been watching GB TV lately.
Wow-You're right-Just went to PackerNews.com and they're about ready to Tar and Feather TT.
My Prediction, for what it's worth, This is TT's last year being Packer GM
Brett was willing to pay part of his salary towards Moss. |

I never cared too much for the guy but I let him slide a bit because of last years draft.
Green Bay webites are hotter than a 4th of July fireworks display right now. |

| Here is a rade the Bears will send you Lance Briggs we if you guys give us Favre that way you can improve the defense and we can REPLACE that IDIOT GROSSMAN. Give Brett the Bears Defense that way he does not need to score 40 points a game with that offense and HELLO SUPER BOWL RING for him next year. |

here ya go Midnight-It was like I expected. Brett was just blowing off steam.
Today, the following Favre statement was issued by the Packers in a prepared statement:
“I was frustrated a couple weeks back when Randy Moss was traded to New England. I never wanted to be traded and I don’t want to be traded. I want to be in Green Bay. I want to finish my career as a Packer. Sometimes when I get frustrated I let my emotions get the better of me.
“As I said in February when I announced that I was coming back, I am excited about the young talent on our team and the improvements we’re going to see from one year to the next. I really enjoy the young guys I’m playing with. I’m working hard down in Mississippi right now, rehabbing, and I plan to be in the best shape of my life.
“I look forward to playing with this team and seeing what we can do. I think we can be pretty good.” |

All well and good for damage control, but I'm thinking that Sir Brett created a rift that might be difficult to overcome. It's one thing to blow of steam, but that little tirade may have gone a long way to alienate his other YOUNG receivers. The fallout could be interesting.]
Either way, the Cowboys are still going to stomp a mudhole in Brett. And dinner will be so good, since I won't be paying.

no problem-He's light duty
The Young receivers aren't going to have a problem with Brett saying what he said.
You don't understand the Pack and the way things are done up here. It will be the Packer way. No clue what you mean by "Alienating" the Young receivers we have. Nothing Brett said can even be construed to make them feel that way. |
