Well I deleted what I said a few days ago. After getting the encouraging emails from all of you out there, I wish I would not have. It wasn't anything bad or negative, it was just misunderstood. Thanks everyone for your positive support, I know that I am not going to make everyone happy, thanks for telling me that, because I forget that minor detail sometime. Much Love

So your hiring practices are now based upon sex discrimination?

No that is not it, and I am sorry that you took it like that. I guess after reading it again, I can see how you can misunderstand it. For those who have read it already, I apoligize if I offended anyone out there. That was not my intentions. All are welcome to apply. There is no need to discriminate, we are all brothers and sisters in one special man's eye sight. Since your name have Rev in it, I am sure that you know who I am talking about I apologize again Everyone

Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it. Specifically requesting woman to apply is illegal. While I am a woman, and if I were a trucker, maybe I would consider it. But, then again I would also expect to be paid, the same, if not more than a man, and be treated equally to my male counter parts.

Mentioning religion in your following reply wasn't a good idea either, because now you'll offend those who are not believers, or believe in a religion that doesn't have one superior being at the top.

Seems like (and I mean this in a some what humorous way), that you keep putting your foot in your mouth. I hope your business practices are handled better, than your postings....

I read the orginal post ... and I didn't find it offensive in any way. I understood where the gentleman was coming from on trying to encourage more female drivers to consider checking out his company. It's a known fact that females make good drivers, we have to try harder, work harder and continuly learn more about the profession in order to prove ourself .

Nor did I for4roses. I too think that it was his intent on saying........."hey, we will give women a fair opportunity".................dont kid yourself, employers are in tune with the insurance stats and accident rates of male & female drivers of the profession. It is their business to know this.

I also read the post, and I agree with you.

I can attest to that.

The way he had it worded originally would have been a lawyers dream with the EEOC. The first male that applied and didn't get hired would have been able to file suit and would have probably been successful.

I understand where the ladies are coming from but if the original statement had the genders reversed you would see how blatant the discrimination was.

Well well, it looks as if I have started a good debate here, which is what makes America so great. We can voice our opinions without any snap back. So here goes. I have a lot to talk about, so sit back.

I have read about two people that started out with a dream by the name Mr. Mike Stern and Mr. Fred Smith. Now if you see where they are now or where they were a few years ago, you would know that everyone had to crawl before they walked. Wouldn't all of you agree?

Now I know that my web page is not as good as Swift's or Ozark's, but I am trying. I am working with what I have. So if it is not professional enough, it will get better in the future, because it is getting the job done for now.

I am glad the individual from Ontario really read into my original post (and didn't get offended) or didn't blow it up like some of the others did, because that was actually what I was shooting for, trying to invite more diversity to my organization. This had nothing to do with insurance, I am a commercial pilot and my company is doing great, so believe me, the insurance is getting paid. Nor do I treat my women drivers unequal, because I know tons of them that fly better than I do.

True enough,,,,,,,,,after reading the original post, I see how it could be misunderstood, but in retrospect, the emails into my bev-inc corporate account has doubled and I have hired 3 ladies from this misunderstanding. So the cheap unprofessional looking web site is getting the job done, because everyone is curious now:D

Bottom line, I am small now, but my people Love Me, because I treat them with respect and I take care of them, and they are not a number. I am smart enough to know, if they are not happy; they will not produce. So I talk to all of them through out the week personally. How many of you out there can say that about their CEO? Not many I bet. My grammar is not that great, and I am not the smartest, never tried to be, matter of fact, I feel like I am Forest Gump sometime, but hey, even him and Bubba started a multi-million dollar shrimping business, so go figure.

So if you are interested go to the site and email me, male female black white etc. it don't matter, me and my investors are here, and we are not going anywhere. But if this company is not your cup of tea, close ranks and carry on, it is plenty other drivers coming to us, so life will go on for us.
