Need a receiver and RB-I think the Pack will pick Lynch if he's still around
I'd like for KGB to leave GB and use him as trade bait
BY THE MALK
"Twas the night before Draft Day, in our town by the lake,
The fans were all wondering, just who Ted would take;
Would it be Lynch with his past and bad back,
Or a talented DB who likes smoking crack?
The draftniks were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of Peterson danced in their heads;
And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a short springtime nap,
I got out of bed (I'd forgotten to floss),
When the news came down, we got Randy Moss!
No sooner had I heard that we'd gotten our burner,
Than I suddenly found, we gave up a 2 for Mike Turner.
Then all of a sudden I heard a noise on the lawn,
I thought "Good God, now I'll be up until dawn";
Out thru the window was a sight to make Bears fans wince,
For there stood none other than our own Saint Vince;
More rapid than Eagles his Packers they came,
And he swore and he shouted, and called them by name;
"Now Hornung! now, Taylor! Now Kramer and Thurston!
On Starr! on Dowler! DAMMIT, Nitschke, stop blitzin'!
Into the end zone! Don't drop that damn Ball!
And score again! score again! score again all!
So up to the roof top his Packers they flew,
With a sleigh full of draft picks, and St. Vincent too.
From up there he saw Ted Thompson, working thru the night,
And decided to help him see the light.
He shouted "Ted, now your big guns are fine!
If you want to win titles, you must work on your line!
Blocking & tackling, that's where it's at,
And if you want to go far, don't let 'em get fat!
Making the playoffs isn't really the thing,
To be remembered, you must win a ring!
Look at me, I won my team five,
and folks still speak of me as if I were 'live"
With that he sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim as he flew out of sight,
"Happy Draft day to all, and to all a good night." |

| :D We've drafted us a defensive tackle, Yoop, Justin Harrell out of the University of Tennessee, first round 16th pick. Runs a 5.08 in the 40 (kinda slow if you ask me) but has good upper body mass, Fox Sports reports. 8) |

| I was pretty happy with our draft but only time will tell if it was a successful one. |

:D I dunno Yoop. Just because a person is from a certain city doesn't mean their pro football team is someone's favorite. When I drove out of Dallas several years ago you wouldn't believe how many folks from there couldn't stand the Cowboys! 8) |
