I've got an insurance problem. It involves insurance agents who post advertisements on this commercial website, thinking they can get away with free advertising. Can you help me with that?

| Geez Rev. give the guy a break. I've seen several postings on the boards from people saying they wish they knew a person who knows about trucking to get insurance, have their taxes done, etc. Scott says he owns a trucking company as well as doing insurance. So maybe he does. I know many drivers that have other jobs on the side. Drive safe everyone. :) |

| Why pay for ads when they can pretend that they are drivers to gain sympathy? |

That's fine and dandy if the guy sells insurance. But, if he wants to advertise it here, he needs to buy advertising space from CAD. Otherwise he is just a spammer, nothing more.
He already used up his free advertisement in the "Trucking Jobs" forum advertising his trucking company. Now it's time to pony up.
There's a reason these restrictions are in place, you know. They are here for two reasons:
1. To keep this place running by not "watering down" the legitimate advertising
2. To keep the fraudsters away, to protect us and CAD.
You do realize that if someone came on here selling fake insurance, and CAD did nothing about it, and people bought into it, it would leave CAD open to litigation? Is that what you want? |
