Going out on a limb here, but line 6 is for the drivers who cant do anything for themselfs, and have a hard time learning, so they ball it up on the new line 6....lol

mike3fan wrote: How could you justify a violation for driving over the 70 hr rule, when the driving you did was under the 70 hr rule?

I think you are reading the regs too literally.......

I was not "justifying" anything. I was COMMENTING on what I found in the inside cover of a J.J. Kellar LOGBOOK.

I SEE your point, Mike. Perhaps, you cold quote the reg on the 70 hour rule so that we can further analyze the situation.

Dam$ Straight! For 8 hours or 10 hours.... depending on what I NEED!!

Sat for 5 hours the other night, waiting of a 20 mile backup to clear. (couldn't take the Adverse Conditions clause, cuz I'm a TEAM.) Combined it with the 3 hour break I just spent (20 MILES previous!) for an 8 hour break! Off the clock, now that I've had a nap.... I drove till well after sun-up!!

A 10 hour break would have required me to wait 2 hours longer. Doing so, would have made me late getting in my paperwork. NO PAYCHECK!!! for this week! :x

Not gonna happen to ME!!

hey golfhobo

your are right it says in the cover of jj keller about the 70 hr rule but if you at the codes you can work over the 70 hour mark but you can not drive.

the only way you can be able to drive again is to get your hours under the 70 hrs. then you can only drive with the available hours.

If you had worked 75 hours and took time off and had 11 hours come off to drop your hours down to 64 then you can only drive for 6 hours.
