| What's with all this about drivers from Mexico? I dont get it. Am I missing something? Does it matter? Who cares! I would rather have drivers from Mexico, than drivers from Iraq. Anyway, you have one post, and this is it? Come on now. Twilight Flyer, Yoopr, yall lock this, and throw away the key :P  |

I didnt run over anyone, but nearly got a skunk. Them things must come out on certain nights. I'd rather hit a pig, than a skunk. :P |

Just my two cents... for what it's worth... was once stranded on an on-ramp there betwixt Shreveport and Alexandria, Lousiana on 49 about 2 am having just locked myself out of the boss's newest virgin Pete 379 on her maiden voyage to "N'Awlins" which he just earlier that day had given me THE one and only key for and having stepped outside the truck on a pitch-black offramp to take a whizz, and then going back to get back in the truck.... lo and behold, the door was locked, and the only key sitting in the ignition.
I stood there feeling like an a$$ for about 15 minutes, finally, a truck comes rolling slowly down the offramp and then back up the onramp. I stood out in the middle of the onramp waving it down at 2:30 or so in the morning thinking that if it was me I would floor it with some weirdo waving me down on a lonesome onramp at 0230 in the morning. But... to my shock and pleasant surprise, the truck stopped. Two Mexican drivers running team. They knew just enough English for me to tell them what had happened to me... Helped me break into my own truck through the side window and get me rolling on down the road to deliver on time. How many of the rest of us... even myself(??)... would have even stopped? |
