"as with any engine manufacturers product, identification of the actual series and model number is important for (lurkers) to find service information. Cummins uses a engine data plate affixed to right front timing cover regardless of engine series or model."

that's a quote from a book i am looking at. it seems there are several pumps to choose from- ptg-afc, and so forth. and each of these has several adjustings....

so what pump and what button?

Your best bet on something like that would be to get a RECON fuel pump and eat your losses on not getting the core charge back. That way you get a pump that is set up for your trucks transmisson and rear end combo. Do not laugh if you could see all the set up possiblites in any type of PT pump you would pull your hair out.
