| Should be a good race, huh? Every time I think of Atlanta Motor Speedway, I always think about Smokey and the Bandit 2, when they raced the trucks at Atlanta. :P |

| Should be a good one. Atlanta has gotten like Las Vegas wants to be in a few years. Atlanta is old school racing at 200 mph, you try to run it like Darlington and the former Rockingham. The tires will lose grip and you will just slide around looking for grip anywhere you can find it. The racing wasn't very good the first few races at Atlanta after they repaved it and reconfigured it, now it is great. Haven't had a close finish in 2 years(Carl Edwards vs Jimmie Johnson was the last in the '05 spring race.) Time seems about right for another one. If Junior's engine holds together, along with no dizzy spells, he could be the one to beat. Looked stout at Vegas before he pitted illegally late in the race. Didn't cost him much in the finishing order but he would have had a Top 5. |

| Hotlanta, one of my fav's for sure. Will be some very high speeds no doubt. Looking for Jr. to do well, like you said Mr. ford, if that engine holds together, he might have a good finish. Look for Waltrip to run the high side for sure...............if he qualifys. |

| Sounds like it should be good. I do know that Atlanta is a hot place. I was getting excited about it, and then I remembered that I work on Sundays. :? |

| Newman stomped'em in quals. Hear this will be a stragety race, using smaller fuel cells this year. I like Labonte's game in that famous #43. 6th fastest on the grid, was strong there last year until the engine let go. Somebody tell Evernham to stop screwing with the King's team on the engine's. Seems every race they lose at least 1 engine. :D j/k, it isn't Evernham's fault, a $0.05 piece can suddenly fail for some odd reason on just one engine because it wasn't tempered exactly the same as the others. |

Man, how do you not qualify? That's funny, but not funny :|

Newman always seems to qualify great but can't finish it.

Newman may have stomped them in quals BUT, won't do him much good, changed motors, starting at rear of pack!!! |

Newman usually does struggle when he gets the pole. Out of 38 career poles, he has only 3 wins from the pole and finished in the Top 5 from the pole 11 times. His last win from the pole, the 2003 Pennslyvania 500 at Pocono.
It seems his car is best when out front in the clean air. Not much different these days than anyone else who gets out front, they drive off from the field. The problem is, his car is only setup for running out front and needing all the clean air, not back in traffic. The other 42 drivers try to set their car up where it is adjustable for whether your in traffic or out front. Newman's is not, it's out front and nothing else. Once he gets back in traffic, he usually goes backwards or struggle's to hold his own. |

| I still say it's that Dodge Front that causes them problems when they're running out front. |

| Oh snap, could be a rough one tomorrow. NASCAR may mandate tire pressure, unless the Busch guys final set of tires show proper wear. Busch cars are only able to run between 30-35 laps before tires start letting go. Green track is causing the problems, hopefully enough rubber got laid down after today. All the rain Atlanta got ended up washing all the rubber off the track, hence green track. |

I've been with SnapOn fantasy racing for about 4=5 yrs now-For me I've found that when I changed drivers I should have stuck with the Original :P |
