I had a close call a few weeks back. Basically I was unable to piss when I got called in for a random... I just managed to make it around 15 minutes before the 3'hr limit on the drug test, by drinking over a gallon of water.
If I hadn't been so lucky, was I at risk of having anything put on my DAC for simply being unable to piss? |

| The company could have placed in your record a refusal to take the test which is the same as a failure. |

| That was one advantage to being diabetic. Any time I got popped for a random all I had to do was drink something like a Mt Dew and in an hour or less I could fill a 1/2 gallon jug. :wink: :lol: :lol: |

Failing to provide a sufficient amount of urine for a drug test in the 3 hour period doesn't mean the same as a refused to test. There is a set procedure (see Subpart I 40.193) in respect to this problem.
