I need a television for my Pete 379. I don't know what size the platform where it will sit is, but it is small. I have been searching in the internet, but I'm not having much luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am looking for a quality television/DVD combo.

Been there/done that. They don't have much of a selection.

I have T-Mobile's wireless internet service, on a two year contract. I don't think it is fast enough.

I was in a Pilot today in Wisconsin of 94 exit 322 (I think :? ) and they had a 15" TV/DVD combo on sale for $129. Can not remember the brand or if that is a "good" deal or not, but it seemed decent I guess.

I see the various, unknown, brands at the truck stops. I'm trying to find a good quality TV. I don't know one way are another if the truck stop TVs are good or not. I haven't had much opportunity to watch TV anyway.

A TV tuner for a computer does not use the internet. It hooks up to the antenna in the truck. Whatever stations a normal tv can pickup, so can the tuner.

TMC does not allow small plug in type inverters?

You can run a 13 inch tv/dvd combo on a 300 or 400 watt inverter. A 9 inch combo will run off a 300 watt.

I do not know if they still have them, but Wal Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc all used to sell 12v Tv's with brand names like RCA, Toshiba, etc.
