We (my better half n me) root for Tony but there's a South Bend driver that is our favorite. Hoping his team gets their :dung: together this year. As a UPS employee I cant root for Denny, its in the company handbook. |

Thank God for Nascar....now that Football is over for awhile. :D
I gotta go to another Race. I went to the Daytona 500 race back in 1975. I sure would love to go again.
I lived about 3 miles up the road from Sears Point for like 6 years. Got my cars out on the 1/4 mile Wed. night Drags quite a few times. Got some Pro autographs, and lived the excitement like it was routine. Now I miss it toooooo much.
I still have my last Sears Point 1/4 miler. It's in my garage now. Was stored in the Barn...but I wanna work on it this year, and next year maybe drive it down to Daytona. It's a red '66 El Camino 396 SS. |

I actually got to go to the Indy 500 about 7 or 8 years ago. Only race I've ever been to and have to admit, it was a good time. But it's not something I want to do again. Just not a big race fan.
But football? Heck, there's still the Pro Bowl, then the intrigue of coach signings (especially with the Cowboys), and then the draft. Then it's spring training, then preseason, then we'll be right back in the thick of things, college and pro both/
Football all the way, baby! For me, the season never ends. :) |
