I realize this is not the right spot for this but i have found no info anywhere else.
I have a 1986 ford ltl9000 at work that i need to replace the steering wheel on. The problem is is that the driver being a bigger guy cannot drive this truck comfortably so i would like to place a little smaller wheel in it as the one there is huge, but i cannot find any info or wheels on line. I was planning on going to the local napa to see if any of the grant gt adapters may fit. does anyone happen to know what these were interchangeable with ??? |

Be careful about changing anything connected with steering or brakes away from the stock setup.
If there's ever a crash, the lawyers will use that to hang you. |

| I would go to your local Ford dealer and find out what steering column is in your truck. It shouldn't matter what the wheel is for as long as the column's the same. Original wheels are usually overpriced at the deralership so look for an aftermarket one. The other option is to find a wrecking yard and look for trucks with same column and a smaller wheel. The final answer would be to buy your driver a membership at a gym! LOL |
