It says it needs a 12 volt outlet with a 12 amp rating or more and it will work.
There may be some type of technology that maximizes the input voltage internally. I have no idea how it works. Just seen this, and it is the only one I have ever seen that says it can plug into a 12 volt outlet. |

| I have called and spoke to the manufactors of the wavebox and learned a little more of how it works. when it is plugged into 110volts it has 600 watts but when it is plugged into the cigarette lighter it only has 175watts. Not a lot of power but is still better than the alternatives. especially when you cannot use the big inverters. Mine is still backordered but I will update when it comes in. |

Makes you wonder doesn't it, and if I was the owner of a retail outfit it would really tick me off.
Vendor comes to you and says...Hey I got this great product.
You agree and think it would be a good seller and ask how many can you supply and when.
Vendor....all you want when you want them.
You say great....give me 500 to start and then as ordered.
Months later you are still waiting..  |
