I'm not the computer guru on here but what I did was get a free version of Photobucket and put your picture on your files or desk top and then copy it to your photobucket account, copy it and then put it on your Avatar on your profille-It can only be a certain size so make it kinda small like the others.

You can click on Profile on top of the page, and at the bottom of the profile is a spot for your avatar. It will ask you to find a picture from your computer. The picture that you choose from your computer has to be pretty small. It will tell you on the profile.

You can use any graphic editing program: Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Paint, just to name a few. Cut the size down to the allowable, but make sure you check the file size, too. I think the max is 24K or at least it used to be.

Or you just PM a cool cat like that Rev.Vassago character, and he would be happy to not only resize your image, but give you hosting space for it as well.

Photobucket can make an avatar, you dont have to resize it manually. It will be resized automatically. I save my avatars in a seperate album in photobuckets.
