Truckers plan to participate in this event. America has been sold out by our elected officials and American truckers are next in line.
Proudly fly the American flag on your trucks April 23rd.
As part of the Hold Their Feet to the Fire events occurring across America on April 21-23 I encourage all American truckers to take part on April 23 to boycott the plan to give trucker jobs to Mexican truck drivers. As part of the NAU Bush intends to open all of America to Mexican trucks. True Americans are asking American truckers to ring the Capitols beltway bumper-to-bumper and in each State Capitol, three wide, nose-to-tail. Park 'em for one hour.
Thousands of American truckers have committed to take part in a nation-wide effort to stop the process of displacing American truckers from their jobs. Bush and Congress need to know that Americans know who the real lifeblood and backbone of this country is! That is the American truckers. America has been sold out by our elected officials and truckers are next on the list.

Does this mean that April 24th is going to be a busy day for recruiters because of all the drivers who just lost their jobs? Because I was going to be on vacation then. Maybe I need to be at work. :D

Its the truth, The Bush administration is either hopelessly incompetent or they are purposely trying to destroy this country.

Not according to others who happen to think that the Bush Administration is more competent than the previous administration and who is doing more to SAVE the country than the previous occupants also...

We return you to the topic of the laughable and ridiculous annual truckers boycott of "something" that has little to do with their own "situation"..

Yeah, I can see this happening!!!

It is difficult enough to get two drivers to agree on where to get the best hamburger let alone try to get a gaggle to protest something they haven't a clue about!!!

Boycot, that's a laugh.

And would you be one of those others?
Can't seem to find many people these days who say they voted for the 'shrub'.

Ha Ha They both sucked.

Clinton is a liar and cheater.

George is just a dumb ass who does not know any better, I guess you can also add liar to his resume as well, not sure about the cheating part with him but I am sure someday down the road there will be photos of Georgie and Carl Rove in bed together.

It Is What It Is..

You know Doc, thats not entirely accurate. My mate Larry and I once agreed to buy KFC instead of a burger, but then we argued for three hours over whether to have coke or 7up.

anyone who dosen't believe that this is really happening needs to go on google.com and really do some research. Research things like Chinese economics and how they feel about the value of the american dollar in comparison to the Euro, and the massive amount of construction going on in texas with the 2 new major highways being built.

the NAU is the real deal, and you all are going to be screwed when it really kicks into full gear.

Welcome to REALITY, Drivers.

American Drivers are on the receiving end of "THE SHAFT", we try to make a decent living out here and and every turn something or someone wants to hamper our chances of making a decent living.

If it's from the Shippers, Receivers, idiotic 4 wheelers, the company you work for, all the way up to our "so-called" fair gouverment.

B*&%hing about it will not solve a thing and all drivers are not on the same page when it comes to wanting to shut down for 1 day to 1 week. Fighting for our rights isn't going to change anything either.

Regardless if you all jump my case because of this, so be it, it isn't going to change my opinion to the obvious. If i see change, everyone better make it a holiday because we all know that day will NEVER come.
