Seems like only yesterday that Denny Hamlin won last years Bud Shootout. less than 1 1/2 months and NASCAR starts again!!!

Now to make the decision, get rid of the XM since they don't cover the races or stay with them since I like their NASCAR shows. HMMMMM

You should prolly stay with XM for the shows. You can get the races each week on regular radio as long as your near a station that carries MRN and PRN. You can check those stations by visiting either's website.

40 days and most of the drivers have yet to get a nice rest. Some are more busy now than during the season. Check out Marty Smith's Door-to-Door column on ESPN about the driver's offseasons'. I really feel sorry for the drivers after reading that. They knew going in what it was going to be like, but only Junior has control over his off-track schedule and he keeps it fairly light. Really wish NASCAR would shorten the schedule by a few weeks and re-work the logistics of where each week's race is.

Got lucky last year, I was running a company that built, repair and delivered tow trucks, got a hot shot run to Phoenix for both the April and the November races. Spent dang near everything I made but sure had fun! Got season tickets to TMS, hope Westar lets me off for them!!!

Man, I feel your pain, I wish it was tommorow. Nascar is something to bitch and moan about when the short track season is going on here in FL for the locals, but now we have nothing, notta. Bring on speedweeks, and around march the locals will be back racin, and in the meantime it's gonna be a long Janurary.

Thats still to far away, dont think ill make it that long.

As for the sat radio, SWITCH, sat out in the truck this morning doing little things just to listen to the new shows (already heard moodys and tonys shows and worth it). Nothing like being able to listen to the race without having to search for the next station down the road plus sirius will have 8 channnels with in-car audio, Busch Series and Truck Series races also.
