I'm thinking about getting a class A CDL license so I can get a job trucking. I live in Tarboro, NC....what is the closest school to me? I found that Sage has a training school at Nash Community College in Rocky Mount NC which is close by....it says its tuition is $3,400! Do all trucking schools cost that much? I found an Interstate Driving Academy in Rocky Mount but it doesn't have any info about it on the web. Thanks for your help!

Most CDL schools are $3000+. Try to find a nearby community college that offers training. They are usually much less.

Yes, check out the local public schools. I went to a 'Tech. Center' in Florida here and got a CDL-A in 2.5 months for $1135.00, put in 1000 miles behind the wheel too.
