Team drivers are not treated any differently than solo drivers:
1. 11 hours driving with each 10 hours off-duty
2. No more than 14 consecutive hours on-duty with each 10 consecutive hours off-duty
3. If a carrier only operates 6 days a week = 60 hours in 7 consecutive days
4. If a carrier operates 7 days a week = 70 hours in 8 consecutive days
The 60/70 hour clock can be reset with 34 hours off-duty
For passenger carriers:
1. 10 hours driving with each 8 hours off-duty
2. No more than 15 hours on-duty (non-consecutive) with each 8 hours off-duty
See 3 & 4
No 34 hour reset.
That's the basics, there are some other rules for 100 air mile radius drivers and drivers who operate non-CDL vehicles within a 150 air mile radius.
Be safe. |

As I understand European driving regulations, any increase in driving hours i.e your permitted 10 hour drives, must be paid back in full by the end of the third week?
And also, your average working week must be 48 hours over a 17 week period or 816 hours? I may be wrong, but thats how I understood the law |

If you run long haul over here, you can expect to run anywhere, from
19000kms and up per month, most companies guaranty 19000kms a month
allot of the good drivers are making around $60000 a year |

If you two can't learn to speak proper (American) English, in full sentences, I'm gonna deport the both of ya to Australia or somewhere!!!

You can't get a truckin job in America without knowing how to speak English! [Unless you're Mexican or Indian!!! - that's the Hindu kind]
You ALSO have to show proficiency at driving on the PROPER side of the road!  |
