I just was talkin with a driver and he said one of our trucks, a 2000 Freightliner Century Class, N14 is starting to heat up much quicker than normal. Once the fan comes on, its ok, and it never overheats, but he said it seems like now its always right close to that temp or so.
Any thoughts? |

Any thoughts?
Any smoke?
Coolant level? (the obvious)
Thermostats.
Tie a plastic bottle to the firewall and stick the coolant tank overflow hose in it... and run it. Check it later on for coolant. This might indicate compression leaking into the cooling system. |
