I go to this site and other sites to learn. I've been lurking here for about a month or so now. I was turned off by all the bickering going on here between members, but I tried to look past that and what I saw is that the members here really do care about our profession and truly want to help other drivers understand and clarify the Federal Rules we have to operate under. I hope that the bickering will stop and that we can appreciate and understand that each of us want to help our brethren, whether we are drivers or office personal. After all, isn't that what this forum is for?
Drivers talk about how they are disrespected by LEO'S, shipping/receiving personall, etc. Yet, you are doing the same, you should be setting an example, you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Just My Opinion!

Let me clarify, Mike3fan, Have you made any concrete contributions to this forum? You are entitled to your right of free speech; however, your last comment only exemplified your silly childishness that those of us here, who are mature, wish not to respond to, except this one time, at least by me.

And making a new thread just to tell people who have been here, acting the same way for years in some cases, is any more mature than their bickering how? There are several things I have realized about situations such as this.

1. Some people are idiots, plain and simple
2. Other people enjoy pointing out the people in #1's every fault
3. It would be a very boring world if everybody actually agreed with each other
4. Trucking is one of those very controversial subjects, ranked right up there with politics and religion, mostly because there ARE so many different ways to approach it
5. Those of us that don't appreciate "arguing" and bickering are better off ignoring it and moving on, or just not reading certain threads after they turn into that. Otherwise, all we do is give the people in #2 more ammo and risk becoming like the people in #1.
6. There are plenty of real, concerned, willing to help wonderful people represented on this forum and others. They are a priceless resource for many new truckers and their families. Don't let personality/view of life differences keep you from learning from and helping others.
7. I am quickly discovering one of the things I treasure about "truckers" is their willingness to be honest, and "blunt" whether its what somebody WANTS to hear or not

So..whether I agree that there should not be bickering or not, there will always be. The only thing I can change is how I choose to approach it.

Madii's wife,

Having read your post, it appears that I put my foot in my mouth.

Who am I to say that what one post is childish. We are all entitled to say what we feel in whatever terms we are comfortble with, I am not above anyone else here.
Mike3fan, please accept my apoligizes for being so ignorant and I promise to THINK before I speak

I just realize this is a place where all kinds of people vent, some in different ways then others would. Nobody is above anybody else, we're all human beings, please don't think I was trying to be condescending because I wasn't.

Out of the generosity of my heart, I took in two stray dogs. Well, we had an accident. Then the puppies started mating at 8 months, 8 MONTHS, I had the original 8, with 23 puppies! Of course the two original parents ran off again. I shovel it by the bucket full!
