Eagle River, Wi. has the World Championships and that's about 100 miles from me.
They have regular road type courses sorta like NASCAR on Snow and they have courses like cycle tracks with the Jumps and stuff. Yeah-most of the competive races have modified engines.
This is the Enemy of Snowmobiling :P

If its got a motor a guys gonna try and make it go faster! Even though the top models can pull 11's in the quarter right out of the box. I went to a snowmobile grass drag competition last weekend. Yoop alot of engines are still 2 stroke. The 4 strokes aren't being real well accepted yet. Too much weight and less torque. |
