OK-you cited 2 Polls but how accurate are they and how close do they usually come to the Computer rankings?

Ok-hypothetical-Say we beat Ohio State and they beat us yesterday(Actually we beat ourselves). What do you have? A CO-Champion?

Well,if both teams stay where they are,and they both play each other again,in the Fiesta Bowl for the National Championship, and Michigan wins,Michigan is National Champions, and Ohio State, goes home.

Makes sense but can you imagine the Anger? :P
IF Notre Dame beats #3 USC would they jump ahead of U of M even when U of M whipped em?
Ohio State going home sounds good though lmao

Man-I'm starting to get a headache :P

yeah,I can imagine what that would feel like. Beating a team, especially a big rival, and then lose when played the second time. Here in Texas, there are 2 divisions in every district in high school football. Large schools, and small schools. Every once in a while, there will be 2 schools that play each other every year in the regular season, and being in the same division, and end up playing each other in the playoffs. Ive seen it both ways. One winning in the regular season, and losing when played again in the post season, and visa versa.

If the Irish can pull it off against USC,I would think that Notre Dame would stay where they are, right under Florida, and USC would drop. Florida would jump up to 3,and Notre Dame would be 4. I would think, but you never know.

Take some meds for the head. College football can make your head spin. :P

If USC wins out, USC will go to the National Championship game. Michigan's lead is by the slimest of margins. I think Notre Dame will take USC next week and I think the only way they jump to #2 is if they absolutely destroy USC.

The rematch is certainly possible. I want to see it for 2 reasons.

Reason #1 - Michigan and Ohio State are absolutely the best 2 teams in college football this year and both are deserving of the chance to play for the championship.

Reason #2 - it will once and for all, prove the BCS is crap and needs to be integrated into an 8-team playoff. Many coaches are already saying the same thing.

The next month is going to be very interesting.

Ok that is surprising with the BCS, the computers must really like Michigan, which is good for them. The BCS uses only the Coaches poll and the Harris poll(can be found each week on Yahoo! Sports), it does not use the AP anymore. Both the Coaches and Harris had Michigan as #3 but the computers must have been the saving grace for them to keep the #2 spot. They better start rooting for ND or UCLA to beat USC, LSU to beat Arkansas and Arkansas to beat Florida.

Urban Meyer is a total idiot. Yeah, Florida deserves it over Michigan......... I mean Michigan lost by a whole 3 points to the #1 team in the land on the road while Florida lost by only 10 points to the #11 team in the land, yeah Florida just so deserves to be ahead of Michigan   BTW, they also played a schedule that is lower rated that Michigan so yeah, Florida is ready to roll with OSU, they have played the creampuffs to get themselves ready for the big boys.
