I've found a couple of add-ons for PHPbb that I think would be great to have here. They all are related to posting replies to messages (PM & Public).
These first 3 will add a 'quick-reply' section to the public topics. When viewing the topic, if the user wants to make a reply, they simply fill out the edit box and hit 'reply' - saves opening a new page in order to make a reply. This would be a great time-saver for users who have a slow connection, such as a wireless card with a slow connection (such as Sprint, Verizon, etc PDA cards). They all do the same thing, basically. The last one listed looks to be the best.

The second 2 are for PM replies. The 1st one will show the original message when you open the reply window. The 2nd one will add a 'quick-reply' to the 'view pm' window. I think the 2nd one would be the best to go with, for the same reasons I posted for the public 'quick-replies' above.
