As far as OTC medications, anything that will or make you drowsy you should avoid. I would also avoid Nyquil and anything else with an alcohol base.
As far as what is "banned" really depends on your company. As far as the regs are concerned there are no banned medications so long as they are prescribed for you.
When I was driving and was under the weather I used Alka Seltzer Plus cold and Dayquil. |

I'm not sure, but any time a medication says possible drowisness I'm out like a light in an hour or two.
I never had any problems with DayQuil or Sudifed. You should ask your company their personal policy on it. Any meds, I always make sure it says no drowisness though. Sudifed may have a day time and night time also.
Dayquil's active ingrediant is: Dextromethorphan
inactive ingrediants: citric acid, D&C Yellowno. 10, FD&C Yellow No. 6, flavor, high fructose corn syrup, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium citrate.
I have the bottle in front of me. |

| First, did you have a flu shot? Aspirin (ibuprofin/tylenol) and lots of liquids. BOL |
