You might want to go criticize him as I am sure I am boring you by now!

Radio: If you read this just ignore it, Rev just likes to pick on me because I TRY to help drivers out with information, that I know for a "FACT" SOME struggle with! As you did Radio posted something to help warn/help a fellow driver out!

So keep it up Radio, we should be here for each other, that is what a message board is for!

RadioRay is a KNOWN entity, and is an EXPERT in relation to the FCC rules. He hasn't posted anything that is WRONG, unlike YOU.

I think it all boils down to one thing- Who asked for your "help"? Most people who "help" others are asked to do so by someone needing it.

And those who continue to talking outside the CB band without the required license are going to cause some drastic measures to be taken by FCC to stop it. At least, when the drivers are informed that there are NO "extree" channels allotted for CB, they know not to transmit on those other frequencies. It's always a few that cause trouble for the rest!

Then tell me something. WHY don't they just install a police radio and start jabbering at the cops? Or put in an aircraft radio? Why not talk to airliners? It is against-the-law for good reason. All radio services are entitled to protection from interference from interlopers who have no business being there to start with! Truckers without the required license have NO business on the police bands and they have no business on the ham bands, either.

I guess you didn't hear. Somebody thought Stern was viable enough to give him 5 more years on radio. The stockholders of that company agree.

And rightfully so. They are quickly catching up to XM, and may surpass them soon, when NASCAR arrives.
