I got my NY sticker today and they say to affix it to the body and not the bumper and near the license plate. Well, the whole front of my truck is all Texas bumper and no body to stick it too.
Anyone have any suggestions or do they really care if it's attached to your bumper when no other place. |

| on my fld and all the trucks we have on our fleet we placed them right below the headlight on the left side so when the troopers went by the could look in their mirrors they would see the sticker. was told to do this by NY state trooper at the scale house when i asked where was the best place for it to be placed. |

| Ok, thanks. I have a good place below the headlight. It was like Christmas today. I got my Oregon number, Green light transponder, NORPASS transponder, NY HUT and Kentucky. Just waiting for NM. |

| I always place mine next to the base plate. I have never had a problem with the placement. I was told some time ago to put it near the base plate. I think as long as they can readily see it, it doesn't matter. I have seen a lot of trucks with them on the front of their hood. |

| I almost forgot, Steve. It usually takes New Mexico about 6 weeks to get their permits out to you. I ordered my 2007 permits a few weeks ago. I don't expect them for a few more weeks. |

Nobody yet, I'm still finishing up my full time job. I have hooked up with a few shippers and qualified with over 25 carriers. |

No, not yet but when I do I'll post it. Maybe this week or next I'm going to pull into the weigh station where I took my CDL test and ask them to go over all my paperwork and equipment. I got a call Friday that my safety audit will be happening soon and that they want me to pull a MV history for the past 3 years. |

| Man, they aren't wasting any time with the audit. I think my niece and her husband were audited a few months after they got their authority. I think the main reason they are getting new carrier's early is to make sure that they are doing everything correctly. At least you won't have a long audit, Steve. There isn't much to audit since you haven't hauled any loads yet. |

Yes, I'm ready. The only thing I need to get is my DMV record for the past 3 years. I take a DOT sponsored safety class that's free here in NH every month. The first audit is a freebie with no penalties associated with it. They didn't say when they were going to do it, they just asked if I was ready and will call back to make an arraignment. |
