First, to the Moderators of CAD, PLEASE leave this topic HERE where most everyone here who knows me reads and looks for my posts. That said, I'll move on to the post.
I've been on CAD for quite some time now and have come to "know" a lot of you almost like family through reading your posts. I have a "feel" for your various writing styles, your likes and dislikes and your overall electronic "personalities.
Over the months past we've all had our ups and downs, our fights and disagreements, and at one point, even got a huge TMC thread shut down lol. Most of you are familiar with my website thanks to CAD and for this I'd like to thank them (CAD).
I'd like to create a page "just for us", the CAD readers and posters, on my website. I'm not sure what it'll be like or how big it will grow but I'd like it to be all positive about each of us. I really DO like you all and enjoy our conversations no matter how argumentative they may get at times. That's the beauty of being human. The right (and ability) to disagree!
I ask that each of you email me at flatbedfred@goldiesplating.com and tell me some things about yourselves. Maybe age, sex, hobbies etc... Whatever you wish, ANYTHING AT ALL. Perhaps how you came to discover CAD or some memorable posts or experiences you've read or had as a result of being a contributor to this site. Like I said, ANYTHING.
I'll take each of your letters and post them on my site. I want to do this because originally my site started out as a diary of sorts, tracing my journey into trucking, and it has since progressed beyond that. I want to include my experiences HERE on CAD as they also had a LOT to do with who I am and what I do now as a driver and all of you had a hand in that.
So PLEASE let me hear from EVERYONE and in a couple of days I'll start putting your letters together into a web page I'm sure we'll all enjoy reading.
