Hey everyone, I just bought a 1985 FLC 120 daycab to start my business with (Log Hauler), and it has a 15 speed overdrive, 350 Cummins, big cam, and here is my question.
I have been a company driver for the past 8 years, and very spoiled in the fact that all maintenance was performed by the company on a regular scheduled basis, so therefore I was very lazy in learning how to perform the basic maintenance on a truck.
Is there anywhere on the website to find items such as:
Setting up a maintenance schedule by:
A. Mileage
B. Monthly
C. Weekly
D. Daily
And how to do a cost per mile on everything associated with this and other items involving this?
Thank You So Much. |

| As a log hauler myself we do ours weekly. Banging in and out of the woods you wouldn't want to do it monthly. |

Well, you should give it a good look over once a day.
I would grease the chassis once a week.
I would do a full PM (oil and filter changes with coolant test) every 10,000 miles. Or let your oil samples tell you where you need to be. |
