| MAN!! you got to the post before I could :sad: . I can't say I can't beleive it, just can't believe it that they spent the 1st round pick on him and all that $$ and have now cut ties. Mark that down as one of the worst picks they ever made. C Ya later burnt toast!! |

Packers cut Ahmad Carroll
Play against Eagles was the final straw
One day after one of the worst games of his career, the Green Bay Packers released cornerback Ahmad Carroll.
The Packers? first-round draft pick in 2004 gave up a 45-yard touchdown pass to Eagles receiver Greg Lewis in Monday night?s loss at Philadelphia.
Carroll also was penalized for pass interference on a drive that resulted in Lewis? second touchdown of the game.
Carroll was a starter for most of his first two seasons but was relegated to a backup role this season with the addition of Charles Woodson.
Carroll became the fourth member of the 2004 draft class to be released. The Packers previously let go cornerback Joey Thomas, defensive tackle Donnell Washington and punter B.J. Sander.
All three were third-round draft picks.
