|
|
I live pretty rural and prefer to do my own work, but I can't find a place that carries any parts. I think the local (25+ mi. away) NAPA will carry some filters for the engine but things like mud flaps, air horns, side mirrors, replacement carpet, dashboard, steering box, etc. are impossible to locate.
For example, I need to replace a number of 1.5" lug nuts. I can't find them anywhere!? I would have thought "real" air horns (not those silly electropneumatic ones for ricer cars) would be plentiful, but no luck with those either.
Anyone have any links or advice? If I could find an Astro someone would want to part, I'd be all over it, but they aren't the most... popular vehicle.
My favorite part is the knuckle-buster transmission stick - it goes straight to the dash for a few gears. *sigh*
Thanks for any thought or advice! |

| If you do a search for "truck parts" you will find a number of suppliers. Kenworth has a online catalog available, if you have a KW. |
